Dappled
Those are some big, round red "leaves" among the typical green and yellow ones. I love the mottled variegation they make on the orchard floor. In a word, it's d'apple-d.
Ah, yes. Hopkins. I hadn't even thought about his list! And, I discovered that he wrote a poem called "Hurrahing in Harvest", a fact of which I had no idea when I titled my Nov First post. :)
Oh I love your addition to my collection of dappled. Reminds me of my dad who always pointed out a dappled sky. And Hopkins of course. :)
