The zinnias I planted in my garden this year are from seed that I collected from last year's patch. They just went crazy! Must have thrived on coolish and wettish weather, or something. The two rows stand tall and lush, with brilliant color-bursts of bloom and vivid green of foliage even during the weeks that the garden usually has a definite endofsummer haggard look. I shall continue to feast my eyes every day until the frosts come.
