Last night we went to a nursing
home to sing for a few of the elderly people in our church family. When the
104-year-old lady held the 4-week-old baby girl, I thought of these
verses: "Listen to
me (says the Lord)...you whom I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you
were born...even to your old age and gray
hairs I am he...I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain
you..." (Isaiah 46:3&4 NIV)
