At Countryside Christian School's program last evening, we heard the old, familiar Christmas story sung and told in new ways. Following the program, as usual, the parents and friends of the students wended their way over to the classrooms to view the art on the chalkboards. If the school children are anything like I was when I was their age, they love this tradition of drawing Christmas scenes on the board the week of the Christmas program. As an adult, I think it's a great custom to continue.
