It's maybe a little hard to see in this photo, but a number of ladies are untangling a mess of yarn there in the center. To me, this scene is symbolic of what happens at Ladies' Retreat. Life gives us tangles sometimes, and we can get frustrated and discouraged over the knotty situations. There's nothing like being able to bring the whole confusing jumble to a circle of trusted friends and get some help with hands-on sorting out; to gather courage to go on with clarity of purpose.
