Gerbera daisies are often bold and brilliant in bloom, but this one is softer and daintier-looking than usual. Which makes it no less striking, in my opinion. I had this plant in my window during the time Ricky was in Guatemala and I remember one season when I was missing him particularly much, it bloomed. I took it as a gift of comfort.
